Our plugin is an easy, quick and simple Gross Margin Calculator for WooCommerce.  It allows you to rapidly figure out your selling price based on your cost and a given Gross Margin percentage.

As described on the main page, the plugin is easy to install and use.  It’s also quick and simple.  It means more time for you to work on your business.

You download your FREE Gross Margin Price Calculator Plugin for WooCommerce on WordPress, upload it and activate it.

Then, you go to Products and then Add New.  Scroll to Product Data.  You will see Price Calculator at the bottom of the section.  Product Cost is your actual cost for a given product.  In our example, we used $200. GM(%) is the Gross Margin you want for this product.  (If you want to learn more about Gross Margin, you can read about it here.) Again, in our example, we used 30.  You cannot key in the % sign.  The plugin will automatically populate the Regular Price.

We created this plugin after realizing that the pricing aspect in WooCommerce was lacking features.  We found a supplier online, got our cost, but we had to figure out our selling price.

Fortunately for us, we have an Excel calculator that we have been using for years in other businesses that does the calculation.  We figured that it would be a nice add-on.

Gross Margin is a very important KPI. A VIKPI!

GM is the percentage of gross profit you make.  How much money you make from a sale.  Without a decent Gross Margin, you risk running your business into the ground.  You need to make enough money out of a sale to pay for the goods you just sold (obviously), your employees’ salary and all the other expenses you incur while running a business.
